There are several short videos available to view at the Persen House.  You can choose whichever one piques your interest, or even all of them!  When visiting the house, please ask one of our docents and we would be happy to change or restart the video of your choice.

George Clinton: Founding Father of New York State – Follow the footsteps of George Clinton from his birth on a Hudson Valley farm to his election as New York State’s first governor and vice-president of the United States under Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. (This video is presented courtesy of the Friends of Historic Kingston.)

Keeper of the Records - This video shows the role the Ulster County Clerk’s Office plays in preserving historical primary source documents. “Keeper of the Records” was produced in conjunction with the exhibit, “Gysbert’s Inventory: A Reflection of 1665 Dutch Life in Wiltwyck,” and it was funded by the same Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund grant administered by the New York State Archives. The video was produced by Ellenbogan Creative Media in 2016.

Historic Matthewis Persen House Virtual Tour – This presentation takes viewers on a guided tour of the 1661 Matthewis Persen House and tells viewers the many stories that only this house can tell.
